Basic Esthetician Program – 600 Hours

  • Students will receive instruction and hands-on training in:

    • Skin anatomy and physiology

    • Skin analysis and treatment planning

    • Sanitation, disinfection, and infection control

    • Virginia laws, regulations, and professional ethics

    • Client consultation, documentation, and contraindications

    • Proper use, care, and safety of esthetic equipment

    • Product knowledge and material selection

    • Facials, cleansing, exfoliation, masks, and moisturization

    • Hair removal techniques (waxing and tweezing)

    • Makeup fundamentals and corrective techniques

  • Students complete supervised hands-on training including:

    • Facial treatments on live clients

    • Skin analysis for different skin types and conditions

    • Safe use of professional esthetic tools and products

    • Proper setup, breakdown, and sanitation of treatment rooms

    • Real-world client interaction and professionalism

    • Total Hours: 600 hours

    • Program Length: 17 weeks

    • Format: Hybrid

    • In-Person Training: 2 days per week (hands-on practical training)

    • Online Theory: Completed at your own pace on non-class days

    • Total Tuition: $8,000

    • Enrollment Deposit: $2,000 (due at registration)
